Accelerate Product Development and Commercial Performance With Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme enables UK businesses to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership lasting between 12 and 36 months.
A KTP enables a business to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership.
KTP projects are part-funded by a grant worth up to 67% of total project cost and help businesses to develop and grow but facilitating access to cutting-edge academic expertise that they don't have in-house.
The KTP scheme is open to all UK-based business regardless of size and not-for-profit organisations (including social enterprises and charities) who need additional expertise in order to complete an innovation project of strategic importance.
