The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme enables UK businesses to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership lasting between 12 and 36 months.

KTP projects are part-funded by a grant worth up to 67% of total project cost and help businesses to develop and grow but facilitating access to cutting-edge academic expertise that they don't have in-house.
Eligibility:
The KTP scheme is open to all UK-based business regardless of size and not-for-profit organisations (including social enterprises and charities) who need additional expertise in order to complete an innovation project of strategic importance.
