ACAS stands for Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service and aims to improve organisations and working life through better employment relations. Services offered include up-to-date information, independent advice, training and support on solving problems.
ACAS is largely funded by the Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), though is governed by an independent council which allows it to remain independent, impartial and confidential.
