Product Description:
Our Green Grant scheme is designed to help businesses in Oadby & Wigston to reduce their carbon footprints, increase energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
The scheme invites businesses to apply for up to £3,000 to invest in the short term for their longer-term sustainability. This could include adopting green transport solutions (including bikes, E-bikes, E-Vehicles), LED lighting, solar panels, insulation, and heating pumps.
This is a discretionary grant funded by the UK Government to be offered on a first come, first served basis, subject to applications meeting the criteria for eligible works and funds being available. Funding will available from 1 April 2025 and will close on the 30 September 2025 or earlier if the annual allocation is spent.

Eligibility:
The scheme will consider all registered businesses with a business premises operating in the Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston boundaries. Ineligible businesses include pawn brokers, betting shops, adult shops, national chain shops and those who are licensed to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises.
