A Business Support Programme funded through the UK Government offering personalised support and guidance for African Heritage Businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire. This support offer will include: The establishment of a Black Business Peer Network, a programme of personalised support and guidance, including 1-1 support, a series of Bespoke Masterclasses providing skill development opportunities, access to resources and information about funding opportunities, grants and loans, the Profiling of Black Business services and products at the African Caribbean Centre and the Highfields Centre, Brokered referrals to other business support services (such as the LLEP Growth Hub, for example) and establishment of a Leicester Black Business Conference and Exhibition.

Eligibility:
Empower Biz is a comprehensive business support programme to empower and uplift businesses owned by all African Heritage Racially Minoritised entrepreneurs of all genders who are running or setting up a business.
The main target groups for support will be individuals running a business who are of African/African-Caribbean heritage including those of dual/mixed heritage born in the UK or across the globe.
