CAPITB Trust works with various industry leading bodies to support the development of skills in the fashion and textiles sectors. CAPITB Trust accepts applications for grants from individuals and businesses of all sizes. The Board of industry experts considers every application and welcomes any application that demonstrates how the fund can be used to enhance the skill base and capability of the fashion and textile industry.

Eligibility:
Who Can Apply?
Firms or freelancers-
Applicants must provide a copy of companies house registration, declaration of number of employees or two years accounts from freelancers with confirmation of company or self employed status.
What the Fund will support
The fund will support training that will help established firms and freelancers to grow by investing in training specific to the garment industry. All forms of garment industry technical and ‘make’ training are a priority. Short courses from established providers (public or private sector), through to longer term accredited learning will be eligible. This project fund will not support entry level training.
The employer or freelancer is required to pay a minimum of 20% of the cost. (illustration: Fund will support up £1,500 per application so a minimum 20% match = total training cost of £1,875)
Priority will be given to ‘make’ and technical training in relation to the garment industry- specifically applications which involve work based learning.
